OH! my copies of Tender Graces have arrived — and I’m getting calls and emails from others who are receiving theirs. I am fit to be tied I am so excited. They are BEAUTIFUL!
I keep thinking about my "journey" here — how I’ve talked about this; dreamed about this; worried over this; angsted, cried, laughed, railed, resigned myself, hoped again….and finally, finally, finally….I have my book on my shelf…and others will have it on their shelves…hold my words. I am so overcome with emotion right now!
On my shelf – I’d had a fake book there to visualize it – we’d made a fake cover (smiling), then when I signed the contract with BelleBooks, I took out the fake book and left the space there. Now…it is filled…..(and hey -how funny that I am between authors David Madden and Adnan Mahmutovic – two people I respect and admire and personally know! David Madden is a playwright, author, poet, teacher and I adore him; and Adnan Mahmutovic is a gifted, beautiful writer who just released ILLEGITIMATE from Cantarabooks – the book on the shelf is [REFUGE]E. *big smile*)
