An Amazon Best-selling Author of five novels and a novella as well as numerous short stories—TENDER GRACES, my first novel, was an Amazon Kindle Number 1 best-seller, SWEETIE and THE LIGHTNING CHARMER were Amazon best-sellers.
As well as my novelist life, I’m a freelance editor, sometimes personal trainer, and former Publishing Editor of The Rose & Thorn. As well, I’m the content editor for my brother’s successful business: Edge of Arlington Saw & Tool.
My short stories, essays, poetry, and photography have been published in print and online publications. My novels are available in print and ebook but mostly ebook as that’s how this book biz goes not.
I live quietly in the Smoky Mountains in a little log house in the Cove at Killian Knob in Maggie Valley, Western North Carolina with my wonky-toothed little dog named lil Bear.

*smiling* thank you . . .
Wow. Awesome fall colors y’all got going on out there! After ten years in New Mexico, and now two years here in North Dakota, I remember – with your pictures – how awesome fall can be on the east cost. I miss that!
It’s really beautiful this time of year -any time, really, though, in the Smokies!
Beautiful photos, Kat. Nature at its finest!
That is for sure!
We’re deep into our colours up here in Canada, maybe three weeks ahead of you. It’s cool to see the earth revealing all her secrets when the leaves fall. Lovely pics.
I’ve always wanted to visit Canada . . . was close once – in the commons area, and actually did step onto Canadian soil, just at the edges but didn’t have a passport so couldn’t go in . . . dang it!
Awwwwwww, beautiful…
